Please note that I will be picking winners for the months in 2011 that have not been done yet. I’ve gotten behind, but I’m a woman of my word.

Beginning, 01 January 2012, there will only be one winner per month, and that one winner will receive a $30 Amazon gift card.

For the months in 2011 that still need winners, there will still be two, $20 gift card winners. The change will take effect starting 01 January 2012.

So many of you take the time to comment on the My Question of the Day blog, I’ve been trying to think up ways to give a little back to show my appreciation for your participation.

Starting this month, retroactive to 01 February 2010, anyone who leaves a relevant and well-thought-out comment on any post on the My Question of the Day blog will have their name entered into the monthly drawing.

Again, your comments must be relevant and well-thought-out. A comment that simply says, “I liked this post” or “Very nice” or something generic like that will not earn you an entry into the monthly drawing.

Since all questions are still open for comment, any question on which you submit a relevant and well-thought-out comment, even if it’s a question from three, six, 12 months ago, will earn you one entry in the drawing for the month you left your comment, and you will receive ten (10) points per comment.

On the first day of the next month, I’ll post the winners of the monthly giveaways. I will contact you through the email address you include when you submit your comment, so make sure you double-check it for accuracy.

Thanks so much for making the My Question of the Day blog so interactive and engaging. I hope to add several other incentive programs like this throughout the lifetime of this blog.
