Tee Morris

Tee Morris
Tee Morris began his writing career with the 2002 historical epic fantasy, MOREVI: The Chronicles of Rafe & Askana and then continued to write another Morevi fantasy, two noir detective novels set in Prohibition-era Chicago, and anthology pieces for Canadian fantasy publisher Dragon Moon Press. It was in 2005 when his idea — podcasting a novel — established him as a pioneer in the Social Media movement, making him the first author to podcast a book in its entirety. That experience led to the founding of Podiobooks.com (with Evo Terra and Chris Miller), the premier site for podcast literature.
Tee took his collaboration with Evo to print in Podcasting for Dummies (featuring Chuck Tomasi in the Second Edition) and its follow-up, Expert Podcasting Practices for Dummies (also with Ryan Williams). He then went on to write All a Twitter (if you look at the front cover, you’ll see my avatar
) and SAMS Teach Yourself Twitter in 10 Minutes, establishing himself as an authority on Social Media matters. His podcasts and blog posts on Facebook, Twitter, Whrrl, and the Social Media movement can be found across the Internet, at Imagine That! Studios, and at his homesite. Tee has spoken across the country and around the world on social media for Book Expo America, NOAA, Te Papa Tongarewa: The Museum of New Zealand, CreateSouth, and LIANZA. Along with his credentials as a Social Media professional, Tee is a columnist and critic for the blog AppAdvice.com.
Tee has penned and collaborated with authors, actors, and performers on anthologies such as BenBella Books’s Farscape Forever: Sex, Drugs, and Killer Muppets, VOICES: New Media Fiction (a podcast mini-series edited by Mur Lafferty), BenBella Books’ So Say We All: An Unauthorized Collection of Thoughts and Opinions on Battlestar Galactica (co-edited by actor Richard Hatch), and Podthology: The Pod Complex from Dragon Moon Press.
The Case of The Singing Sword: A Billibub Baddings Mystery, received an Honorable Mention for ForeWord Magazine‘s 2004 Book of the Year award, was a Finalist for the 2005 Independent Publisher‘s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy award, and won “Best Audio Drama: Long Form” at the 2008 Parsec Awards. Recently, his two podcast short stories “Release Me” and “Dagger of the Mind” (both produced for the Erotica ala Carte podcast) received nominations for the 2010 Parsec Awards.
