Really? Not guilty of murder or even manslaughter?
My “In the News” Question of the Day: Casey Anthony was found not guilty of first-degree murder, not guilty of aggravated child abuse, not guilty of aggravated manslaughter and guilty of four counts of providing false information. Do you think Caylee has received justice from the verdicts handed down?

Of course not. She was obviously guilty. The justice system failed.

LikeDislikeEveryone is blaming the prosecution for not proving the case. But hardly anyone acknowledges that the prosecution is working within limitations – they are only able to submit to evidence what was given them by investigators and other law enforcement. There was no smoking gun in this case that directly linked Casey Anthony to her daughter’s death.

LikeDislikeCorrelation does not imply causation. If she’s guilty of the crime, then the prosecution failed to disprove her presumed innocence. That’s why it’s called the “justice system,” not the “vengenace system.” We may not agree with it, but that’s how our justice system works.
