My Question of the Day for 27 October 2010
My Question of the Day: Your cousin, who recently was laid off from his/her job, calls you up from a car dealership and asks you to “pretend” to be his/her employer, and to say he/she has worked for “your company” for six years, so he/she can qualify to finance a new car. What do you do?

Anyone who knows me already knows I won’t do things like that. So if they still asked, that would just be stupidity on their part. (Although buying a new car when you’re unemployed already qualifies as stupid…lol)

LikeDislikeI would consider that. Thats their bill not mine. We never know what someone has endured and the reasons why they dont have the credit to get a car. I would make my decision based on the quality of life, and the character that individual has. Sometimes you can have the money but not the credit to get a car. If noone ever helped me I wouldnt be where I am today.

LikeDislikeThat’s easy…I’ll just hang up. I will not even entertain the thought of even trying to go there with this person. That’s nonsense.

LikeDislikeI would tell he or she no and ask her what made her think I was a liar and why would she want to get me involved in her fraudulent activity.

LikeDislikeGirl I am luving ur questions here lately bcuz they’ve been hitting home like a Mugg!!
I had a sistergirl ask me to do that, and here I am only an Administrative Asst. I told her I didn’t feel comfortable doing that, (and what made it so bad is that her boss was cool as heck!) Sista-girl never got written up, but apparently sistagirl had Issues with her Boss. I couldn’t understand it.
After telling her I wasn’t comfortable it was like she wasn’t hearing a word I was saying. She kept over talking me, instructing me on how to conduct the interview when people call me, insisting, “you can do this gurl, we sistas, we gotta help each other out!”…– I finally had to get loud with her and assert MY authority, and tell her “Look XXXX, How DARE YOU ask me to jeopardize my job like that? I am NOT about to lose my job for you girl!” She backed up and looked at me like I was crazy! (okkkkk did I do something wrong here?)—
She copped an attitude blowing and huffing & puffing saying ” just forget it…don’t worry about then…”//////
****PPFFSSHHH –like I **WAS** worried about it?????
