Back when the earthquake hit Haiti, and due to all the subsequent global tragedies that followed that sad situation, I had the link to this page repeat-tweeting for over a year. One day, I stopped it. Bad idea. Millions of people are still in need of help all over the world. That’s why I decided to get it going on repeat tweet again. A little help from a lot of us will go a long way in helping mitigate some of the suffering going on in our human family. Won’t you consider helping?

Natural and man-made disasters are affecting the human family from one end of the globe to the other, even in well-developed nations like the United States. It’s time we think about broadening our reach.

If you’re not in a position to donate your time to help those in need, please think strongly about donating your money and things like non-perishable foodstuffs, clothes, shoes, blankets and even water.

There are so many organizations to consider. Please do your research and find a credible organization with which to volunteer or give.

An excellent place to start is with Charity Navigator. Their tagline is “Your Guide to Intelligent Giving.” Charity Navigator evaluates organizations that collect donations for humanitarian purposes. Start by checking out their Top Ten Lists:
