My Question of the Day: There are good dates and bad dates. Of course, we all would prefer the good dates. With that in mind, what was the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you on a date?
My 2 Cents: I have been searching my memory, and I can’t think of one embarrassing moment during a date, not even from high school. Thank goodness for drama-free dating!

I don’t have a moment I have not been on many dates I can count them on one hand.

LikeDislikeI had ground pepper stuck in my front teeth and I was having a ball – laughing and being a chatty cathy — then i realized how gross I was looking ahh!

LikeDislikeI was on a first date with a guy I didn’t really know well. We went to a sports bar/entertainment complex – one of my favorite places to hang out and play games. Apparently he had started some trouble the weekend before and had been banned from this establishment. Security comes up to us on the dance floor and tells this guy that he has to leave. Soooo, the guy starts yelling in security’s face and a couple of other security guys come over and grab him and escort us both out. I said it was a first date, but it was also the only date.

LikeDislikeYou know those moments you look back at and laugh at several years later? Well, this is one of those moments. My most embarrassing thing to ever happen on a date was once in college. When the check came I offered to pay but my date was such a gentleman he wouldn’t let me. The waiter returned with “Sir, your card has been declined”. I had cash…or so I thought. I reached in my purse to find no cash and my purse was so cluttered I couldn’t find my credit card. Several moments later after several jokes about washing the dishes, I found my credit card and paid for dinner.

LikeDislikeOk, you are my family, so I will share an embarassing story.
I was on a date with someone I liked, back in High School. We went to the Steak N Ale and prepared for a delicious prime rib dinner. Unfortunately I was sick at the time, but putting on a brave face for my date – or for fear I would not get another date had I cancelled. So we are at the table having a nice conversation and he excuses himself to go to the salad bar. I, like many other slick people, took this moment of alone time to “release” some pressure that had been building up. What I didn’t expect was what, exactly, I was about to release. To save the details, just remember I was already sick… I quickely waddled off to the restroom, and did the best that I could. I ditched part of my outfit and walked back to the wall all the way to the table, where I announced I was too sick to continue and would need to go home.
How I made it without him knowing is a mystery, unless he was just being polite. Well, judge me if you must, but that happened.

LikeDislikeI can remember one date that happened a long while ago where dude ate steak with his fingers, fries with his fork, and licked all the steak sauce off his fingers BEFORE wiping his hands on his napkin. And if that wasn’t bad enough, dude spent about 20 mins in the bathroom before the movie we were going to see came on and had the nerve to wanna hug me afterwards!! I did not see him again!

LikeDislikeThis was a few years ago. It was equally embarrassing for both of us. It was a first date, and it was in a quiet, quaint restaurant. Obviously, what transpired wasn’t intentional, but she farted. And it was LOUD! It totally caught me by surprise. I mean, everyone heard it & there was that awkward silence when she let it rip. I tried so hard to contain my laughter, but I couldn’t. So I decide to sip some sangria to get my mind off it, but then as I’m sipping and trying to hold in my laughter, I snorted & sangria comes flying out of my nose. I was wearing a white shirt & it stained it. So I guess we were a perfect date – the young lady with uncontrollable flatulence & the immature dude that sprays alcohol from his nostrils.
We ended up dating for almost a year. That date totally broke the ice.
