My Question of the Day: Movies based on true stories or true events usually tug at our heart strings. With that in mind, have you ever seen any horror movie that seemed so closed to reality that it caused you to have bad dreams and/or caused you to keep the lights on around the house at nighttime?
My 2 Cents: There was a movie released in 1979 called “When A Stranger Calls,” which was remade in 2006, that had me absolutely terrified!
I won’t give away the ending, just in case someone wants to check out either version, but let me put it to you like this: it was weeks before I was comfortable enough to be alone at home at night and hear the telephone ring.
Just thinking about it now makes me a little paranoid. Word.

I have to say that as a kid chuckie did that for me because as kids we usually place life into inanimate objects and i did so with my dolls so the thought that they could turn on me was scary beyond belief lol

LikeDislikeI don’t really scare easily, but Se7en did creep me out and I just knew the chick from Pet Cemetery was going to come in my room and twist my back up just like hers…

LikeDislikeSo far, no. lol I love scary movies. I went to see “Paranormal Activity” the night before I was about to be home alone for a week and thought maybe that wasn’t such a good idea. But I was fine. I’m twisted, what can I say?

LikeDislikeI can’t watch horror movies because I scare easily LOL. But after seeing “The Blair Witch Project” I couldn’t get that movie out of my mind. It took me a few nights to shake that one.
