This or That: My Ultimatum of the Day for 13 April 2010
My Ultimatum of the Day: You have back taxes due and the federal government is breathing down your neck. In 60 days, you must pay or go to jail. You’re out of work, and the amount of money you have in the bank right now to pay your rent/mortgage is the exact amount you owe the IRS. Your ONLY choices are to either strip for 59 days or become temporarily homeless. Which do you choose and why?

I’d be homeless…To me, there’s just not enough money to lose my self-respect to take my clothes off in front of a bunch of strangers who might do me harm just cuz they liked what they saw. At least, if I’m homeless, there are shelters I can stay in…places I can get food, and a bath…and people on the street would just give me money or food to eat cuz they feel sorry for me.
