My Question of the Day for 11 March 2010 – UPDATED
My Question of the Day: If you had no choice, and you had to move from the state in which you live now to another, to which other state would you move?
My 2 Cents: In a word—Florida.

PROTECTED TWEETER I would move for FUN: to FL, for a job: TX! But I love GA and just moved here less than 1 yr from IL!
overanalytical I see NY is a much coveted place to live. No surprise here!
Teaguem2005 My move from PA would be either to GA or NC bcuz I’ve got family in both and I love the South
OfeliaNJ From my limited experience, I’d like to move to South Carolina or Tennessee enjoying the Southern hospitality!

LikeDislikeI have been trying to move to NYC for a couple years now. i was ready to go, but the economy changed. I didn't want to move just to be broke.
But this is still a dream of mine and I will make it happen eventually. If it was being forced on me, that might kick my butt in gear.

LikeDislikeNew Jersey. Because it's close to NYC. Traveled all around the country & honestly, NYC is the best place to live. Nothing compares, especially as a jazz & classical music lover. The Met, Bluenote, Village Vanguard. Enough said. Those 3 establishments have done more for music advancement than entire Nations.
Also Museums. No shortage of that here. I was in Sugar Land Texas for a bit, and what they considered pizza was laughable. Nothing beats the big apple, nothing.

LikeDislikeThat's easy: back home to New York! I'm in Boston now, so I'm close but NY is the only other place I could live and be happy…

LikeDislikeTwo options. Either some place warm like the Carolinas or busy like Boston or NY! I adore Boston. In NY I'd have the best of everything, my Jewish population, my Japanese population, my Spanish population, my open farmers organic markets, my mass transit, NY is heaven on Earth!
Then there is the simple laid back lifestyle of the hospital, great eatin', warm weathered Carolinas. Tough choice

LikeDislikeI live in PA and if I had to choose to move to another state my 1st fist choice would be my beloved home state of NY! Empire state of mind. It's expensive as all heck but it's a Love Thang!
