The Harder Question for 15 February 2010
The Harder Question: As parents, we want the best for our children, and we want to be able to protect them from all the pain and suffering this world has to offer.
Thinking about that, would you rather your child have an incurable, but non-life-threatening, disease or be gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender?

Yea, I can see how GLBT can be painful because of how the world may treat them but I would take that over illness. I would just empower my child to be happy with who they are and only deal with people who are happy with them. I think that goes even for non-GLBT humans. We must all love ourselves and avoid people who don’t love us, or at least like us

LikeDislikeUhm, I would rather have them GLBT than ill for the rest of their life. Pretty simple choice for me.
