My Question of the Day: Your friend invites you over to see a pirated copy of a popular movie playing in theaters right now. What do you do?

Say no thank you and give my routine speech about how pirating robs opportunites for those involved in the film industry especially African-Americans. At two daycares where I live, black-owned, they showed the children bootlegs of The Princess and the Frog. Now if we want to see Disney make more of those films; if we want to see more African-Americans enjoy the same success as their white counterparts then you have to put your money down at the theatre. Or else sit around complaining about how more African-Americans aren’t given a chance to do this and that when we, the consumer, are dictating the successes and failures of these filmmaking endeavors by our behavior. But I know, it’s all so funny. Hee hee.
