My Question of the Day: Is “re-gifting” a bad thing?

This is kind of tough. I wouldn’t regift junk, however if it’s something I already have or something some1 else may want I don’t see a problem with it. Better than trashing altogether. Last year a secret pal gave me a fish bowl. I didn’t like it, mainly because I’m not into fish but my mother-in-law is, regift it to her and she adores it. I did tell her it was a re-gift and she was fine with it, but that’s the type of person she is.
