My Question of the Day: Your closest friend begins to date someone of whom you don’t approve. What do you do?

I let them know my opinion remembering that the truth doesn’t have to be unkind. But I can be really honest, it’s rare but if I dislike you, I’m not really good at hiding that, so my friend would know.

LikeDislikeJust to elaborate on my tweet. I would begin to ask the question, why do you disapprove. Your disapproval is based on your beliefs, experiences and thoughts. Even though disapproval may be obvious:), we have to allow people to live their journey and learn their lessons. That’s why the most loving thing we can do is support. Recognize there is a difference between supporting and enabling. If and when we are asked about the situation, it is our job as a human being to speak our truth and remember it’s not always what you say but how you say it.
