RULES FOR COMMENTS
1. DO NOT include links in your post. There is a place for you to include one link when you’re filling out the Name/Email/Website information. Comments that include links will be deleted.
2. If your post is obviously irrelevant to the question at hand, it will be deleted. This is a tactic spammers use to simply show up on blogs.
3. Please keep your comments respectful. We can agree to disagree without attacking each other.

Aaaah, the twist! If you feel you need to do something, then have the conversation. What’s important to remember is that you are saying what YOU think. So speak from your perspective. Tell your friend what you want them “to know”. Share your thoughts and not try to tell your friend what you think they should do. Cause in the end its not about you

LikeDislikeI’ll just deal with it… My friends are not always right…and sometimes they are. If it turns out they were right abt not liking dude for whatever reason, then I’ll be sure to tell them later, “They told me so”… If it turns out they were wrong abt dude, I’ll just smile and go on with life with dude. I’m not going to lose friends over a guy and I won’t lose a guy over my friends. We are all adults in this… I’m able to make my own decisions and live with them once they are made.

LikeDislikeWhen I got married at age 22, most of my “friends” didn’t approve of him….Well…they are no longer my friends & my husband & I have been Happily married (with 1 child) for 11 yrs .If I wouldve listened to my “Friends”, I couldve possibly missed out on the MAN GOD intended for me…

LikeDislikeFind out what their concern is, and acknowledge it. Figure out why/how concern could be valid/invalid. Keep my eyes open, and be fair, pray a lot! Try to include them in activities we have with groups of friends. Sometimes it’s a legitimate concern equally it’s a concern of the best friend that their “position in my life” is about to change and they’re fearful of that, hence no approval. Up to me to ferret out the truth of the matter.
