The Question: Does growing up in a two-parent home assure you a better future than being raised by a single-parent?

My 2 Cents: No matter how many parents you have, or don’t have, nothing assures you a better future. Life is what YOU make, regardless of the situations and circumstances of your upbringing.

Let the past be prologue and make the future you want for YOU!

Mo_Rease  I would say that the chances are better in a two parent home but it depends on the household.

PROTECTED TWEETER I don’t think it “assures” a better future but I do think it affords different opportunities. Wish I knew stats though.

atane  It depends on the parents. However, all things being equal, it is best to have a two parent household imo.

SPIT4Success  Having both parents makes it better for the kids and easier for the parents but it doesn’t assure the success of the child

tclarkusa  Not hardly. Statistics may say otherwise but I believe 1 parent/2 parents doesn’t matter as much as knowing some1 believes in u
