My Question of the Day: Does growing up in a two-parent home assure you a better future than being raised by a single-parent?

No, I do not believe growing up in a 2 parent household “ensure” you a better future. It may aid in you having a better childhood but your future is all yours. We each have a life to live seperate of our parents thus no matter what our upbringing may be, our future depends solely on what we make of it. I grew up in a 2 parent househould and my “future” hasn’t been the best due to choices I chose to make starting at the age of 17. As soon as I turned 18, I made poor choice after poor choice and I don’t have growing up in a “single” parent home to blame for it.
