The Question: There’s a saying that “you are your own worst enemy.” Agree or Disagree?

My 2 Cents: I agree that we can be our own worst enemy.

On one side of the coin, we can think too highly of ourselves and be unwilling/unable to listen to the good, sound advice of those who would seek to help us and/or spare us.

On the flip side of the same coin, we can think too little of ourselves and be unwilling/unable to hear the good, sound praise of those who would seek to help us and/or spare us.

It is truly a double-edged sword, and we must find a middle ground that keeps us balanced.
