My Question of the Day for 19 November 2009 – RESULTS

-

The Question: How do you feel about taking medication, whether it’s prescribed or over-the-counter?

My 2 Cents: Prescription and over-the-counter medications serve a purpose. When they are absolutely necessary, I take them. However, I’m very reluctant to take any medication that is considered to be habit-forming and/or addictive. I’ve had prescriptions for these types of drugs, filled them and then never took them. I just didn’t want to take the risk, even though that may sound silly. I did fill them just in case the pain was unbearable, but it seemed to never get much worse than Tylenol or Motrin could handle, thank goodness.
