My Question of the Day: Should a non-custodial parent ever ignore the courts and take his/her child from the parent who has custody?

Just like with any situation, there is always a time that such a thing is warranted. However, not on the norm @ this being a tactic. Doing so will only make the non custodial parent look bad in the eyes of the court depending on the situation.
Now I can think of several reasons why one would take their kid from the custodial parent sans court approval.
Drugs.
Violence in or around the home that puts the child in DIRECT DANGER.
Allegations of sexual abuse by someone in the household WITH EVIDENCE that such acts have taken place.
Extreme behavior of the child that is detrimental to the well being of the child.
And even in those cases, some valiant attempts need to be made to do things properly so that if the situation of removal of the child is to be permanent, the non custodial parent will have gone about retrieving the child the ‘correct’ way and will not have any obstacles.
