My Question of the Day: Can you really meet your life-time partner on an online matching site?
RULES FOR COMMENTS
1. DO NOT include links in your post. There is a place for you to include one link when you’re filling out the Name/Email/Website information. Comments that include links will be deleted.
2. If your post is obviously irrelevant to the question at hand, it will be deleted. This is a tactic spammers use to simply show up on blogs.
3. Please keep your comments respectful. We can agree to disagree without attacking each other.

Meeting someone on line is risky, but fruitful if one is careful. On line meeting is just another tool by which some people can meet. Church is no longer the safest place to meet a person. Too many personel issues are covered up for fear of not being accepted. On line a person can lay out issues and desires. And there is a history of that person posted should something go wrong. We need to get to know folks better, not just by how they look, but what is inside the heart and mind. IF that person has a relationship with Christ that is a plus, then a plan can take place if desired.

LikeDislikeIndeed I did meet my SO on-line about 24 months ago (chuckle)!!
He had just relocated to the area for his career, we started dating.
Both closed our profiles after the first few months of going out.
The rest is just history – right before our 2 year anniversary this year & my birthday – He asked me to marry him – so we’ve been engaged for about 4 months now.
So yes you can meet someone on-line have a successfully relationship!
Thanks BPM.

LikeDislikeI think it is possible albeit more difficult to find love online vs. in person.
