I agree with the majority of the answers.
Religion is organized worship usually performed by a group. IE Catholics, Lutheran Methodist.
Spritulity is an individual form of expressing ones religion.

LikeDislikeSpirituality is often a cop-out label taken on so as not to have to change your life according to the rules of any given religion. Religions can and have been used deceivingly for control but, that is not usually based on the actual teachings of the faith rather a man made twist.
Individuals taking the media image or other poorly informed sources as fact, draw conclusions they hold as fact because they fail or refuse to seek the truth for what ever reason. This practice, over time, further embeds misconceptions in the minds of many…then you get, “everybody knows that…”
Dig for the sources and then check those sources, dig until you reach the end of the trail. Religion didn’t start in your lifetime, or your parents, grand parents or great grand parents. A lie, misinterpretation, omission, deletion or error of any kind from hundreds of years ago has by now become accepted by many. If “Granny says it” it must be true, well granny is wrong, not lying though just passing on the lie she was given.
Research, pray, stop furthering ignorance and have true faith.

LikeDislikeReligion is an organized worship while Spirituality is one’s own personal journey to enlightenment! A proper balance of both may result in a better tolerance of each other’s beliefs, realizing that we are all attempting to get back to the same life-giving source!

LikeDislikeThere is a huge difference.
Religion is a set of man-made rules, worship, fellowship and rituals while Spirituality means being in tune with yourself.
Religion, like md20737 said, encourages separation. Religious beliefs are one of the main causes of bad relationships and can torn families up. There’s cases when businesses are afraid of hiring people who practices certain religions, like JW’s.
Spirituality is more of a journey to know one’s self and capabilities. They will not try to change other people.

LikeDislikeReligion is an organized belief system based on rules and doctrine. Spirituality is communion wuth the spirit , and really transcends religious doctrine. Sprituality may include several relgious practices, but is really only foused on communing with the spirit, rather than rules and doctrines.

LikeDislikeReligion is the act of worshiping. Religion is a ritual and set of rules. Relgion has become a large form of control. Religion seperates and segregates and has become counter productive in my eyes.
Spirituality in my opinion is living life with purpose and balance. Spirituality is what religion started out as. Leading a spiritual life means being intune with the world and all that inhabit the world and coexisting as peacefully.
